Yummy, Yummy Honey

Caylee brought some honey to school.
Here is her story.
We got the honey from the honey combs.
We turned the handle around and around.
We opened the lid.
There was honey in it.
It was fun.
My mum said “You can take the honey
to school tomorrow.”
I gave the honey to my teacher.
My  teacher  liked  it.
Caylee thought we could all share the honey
and have a taste.

Crafty Kids Can Create Cool Cats

As part our Crafty Kids activities, we have been learning to fold and cut paper shapes to create different things.
We have made paper fantails.
We have made colourful birds.
We have made creative pumpkin faces.
We have even made paper cats.
Here are the 'Cool Cats' we made on Friday.

Training for our Whanau Sports Morning

Next week, it's our Whanau Sports Morning.
We have lots of different activities to do so we needed to practise the tricky ones.
We thought discus and frisbee throwing could be tricky.
We also had to learn about jumping in a sack for the sack races.
We practised jumping with Sonja from Project Energise.
Look at our great jumping in our movie - we are pretending we have sacks -

Monday Morning - Learning outside the classroom.

This morning it was so nice, we decided to start our day outside in the sunshine.
We had partner chat with a buddy.
We talk about our weekend and the things we did at home.
We have to ask questions for more information.
