We are celebrating Matariki this week.

We celebrated Matariki by playing games  - clever sticks, knuckle bones and spinning tops - and learning ti rakau - 

Money Doesn't Grow on Trees

As part of our two term inquiry, 'Money Doesn't Grow on Trees' we designed our own coins and notes using KidPix drawing tools.

 

 

 

Tane Mahuta Day

To celebrate Tane Mahuta Day on Friday we went down to Middle Flat to draw the Redwood Tree.
We practised sketching the tree on Wednesday.
We can 'Look, Draw, Look.'
On Friday we did sharpie ink drawings.
