The butterfly hatched today.!
We were excited this morning when we got to school because the chrysalis was black.
We could see the butterfly's wings.
At lunchtime the butterfly hatched out of the chrysalis.
At hometime the butterfly was opening and closing its wings to dry them so it can fly.

They were falling in the pool holding their life jackets.
I was watching them.
It was amazing."
Nixon said,

Our Chrysalis.
We were so excited when we saw our caterpillar had turned into a chrysalis.
It changed while we were learning our maths.
When we came to school the caterpillar was hanging upside down like a 'J'.
Ayla said,
"Our caterpillar was hanging from the leaf.
I saw it taking its skin off.
It magically turned into a chrysalis."
Panna said,
"We saw a caterpillar make a chrysalis.
It made a letter 'J'.
Then it wriggled and it took its skin off."
