Planting day for Tahi bubble at school

 Tēna Koutou Katoa

Today is a beautiful sunny day. Our bubble decided to do some planting in our school kitchen garden. We planted lettuce, corn, peas and beans. I'm sure we'll be able to eat some when its harvested.

Guess what !!
We picked some potatoes, broccoli, celery and parsley and made a delicious salad for our lunch to share. It was yum, yum, yummy!

Would you like to have salad for your lunch?
Why not try making it with what you have at home,  give it a go! Make sure you check with your parents first.

Challenge - Can you make a coloured rangoli pattern on a piece of paper!

Look what whaea Monika and some of the children did at school in their bubble. We made a rangoli pattern to celebrate Diwali, a festival of lights. The bright, twinkling lights are meant to symbolize the victory of good over evil, knowledge over ignorance, and inner light over spiritual darkness.
